Relief Nurseries Overview
Relief Nurseries serve the most vulnerable families in our state with a holistic strength-based approach to child and family development. The nationally recognized Relief Nursery model provides families furthest from opportunity with the intensive support they need for their children to grow up safe, healthy and ready for school.
Relief Nurseries address the diverse needs of families through individualized case management. Children participate in therapeutic classrooms with low adult-child ratios, and families receive home visits that promote healthy parenting and child development as well as an array of other services to help promote stable and attached families.

Providers and partners who receive funding from the state through an ELD contract or agreement are required to complete an equity training. Click here for more information.
