The Early Learning Division is pleased to announce that the Vroom program will continue thriving in Oregon in 2017! The ELD will support 15 community organizations across the state that will share the Vroom brain-building tools in their regions and services for families. More details to come.
In other great news: select Vroom tools have now been translated into the following languages: Russian, Chinese, and Vietnamese. These new languages – the result of the great work of the ELD translation team – are now available to our partners.
Pictured here is the Vroom Brain Story Flyer in Chinese, which covers the important steps in infant brain development from birth to age 5 and the importance of parent-child interaction.
These Vroom tools are great for home visitors, parent educators, and anyone who works with families of young children. Request translated flyers and learn how to build Vroom into your program by contacting the Vroom Coordinator, Ari Wubbold, at ari.wubbold@state.or.us. Thanks for helping us get these valuable tools into the hands of Oregon’s families!
