The Early Learning Division is pleased to announce several exciting updates related to the Vroom program. Vroom is a set of tools and messages that empower parents and caregivers to be brain builders. It elevates what parents and caregivers are already doing right and enables them to make the most out of their time with their children. The ELD recently added 4 new pilot sites to help bring Vroom to Oregon’s families (making 20 in total): the Northwest Regional Education Service District; the Baker County Library District; the Early Learning Hub of Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties; and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. We’re so pleased to welcome these sites to the Vroom family. As a further part of the ELD’s efforts to make Vroom accessible to all families in Oregon, the Division is translating select Vroom materials into Russian, Vietnamese, and Chinese. These materials will be available soon. Learn more about the ELD’s efforts around Vroom on our website, including great examples of Vroom in the news and the contact information for your regional Vroom pilot site.
