Child Care & Development Fund
The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) provides resources to State, Territory, and Tribal grantees that enable low-income parents to work or pursue education and training. The resources allow parents to better support their families while promoting the learning and development of their children. The CCDF also provides funding to enhance the quality of child care for all children.
The Child Care and Development Fund State Plan maps the State’s response to Federal requirements, serves as the application for CCDF funds and provides a description of and assurance about the State’s child care program and services available to eligible families. For more information about the State Planning documents and process, please read CCDF Presentation (PDF).
